I first Melissa in first grade. She was a wonderful friend from the get go. We were best friends in fifth grade. I remember going to her house to work on school projects and going for bike rides. I just went to Melissa's memorial today. I got to see her parents. It was wonderful to see how many of Melissa's friends and family were there. She was a wonderful person and great friend. She will be greatly missed by everyone's hearts she touched.
